WHAT LEVEL IS RIGHT FOR ME?
ABSOLUTE BEGINNER
Our foundation level, starting from the very beginning. Here we will be looking at breathwork, floatation, body position and introducing kicks and simple stroke work. We will be trying to master shallow water confidence, as well as introducing deep water confidence work.
Choose this level if:
You have no, or very limited experience in the water
You feel anxious in the water
BEGINNER II
Working on improving body position, breath work, as well as refining stroke technique, stamina building and deep water confidence work.
Choose this level if:
You can float & kick on front and back least 10 metres independently
You have basic stroke skills
You are not yet confident in deep water
INTERMEDIATE
Focusing on the technique of the 3 major strokes (front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke) - continuing with refining the technique, as well as introducing distance and pacing. We also look at skills such as starts (dives & undulation) turns (open and tumble turns).
Choose this level if:
You can swim at least 25m on your front and back continuously
You are comfortable to swim in deep water
ADVANCED
Our highest level, for those who can swim the three main strokes comfortably, and want to continue improving technique and efficiency, as well as speed and distance.
Choose this level if:
You can swim at least 50m continuously in front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke
You are comfortable in deep water
You are looking to refine technique
