A 5-week swim course in Wimbledon, running every Thursday from 10th September - 15th October. The session runs for 45 minutes, either 19:30 - 20:15 or 20:15 - 21:00. . This is a mixed session.
19:30 - 20:15: ROOT (Absolute Beginners)
Perfect for those new to swimming or lacking confidence in the water. We'll focus on the fundamentals, including:
Breathing techniques
Floating
Kicking
Body position
Water confidence
20:15 - 21:00 RISE (Beginner Level 2)
Suitable for swimmers who can already float and kick independently on both their front and back without flotation aids and have begun basic stroke work.
During the course we'll:
Develop front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke
Improve breathing techniques
Build confidence in deeper water
Increase swimming efficiency and technique
19:30 - 20:15: BLOOM (Intermediate)
Suitable for swimmers who can swim a full length without stopping on their front in a recognised stroke, and have the basics of frontcrawl and backstroke (breaststroke is a plus, but not necessary)
During the course we'll:
Develop front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke
Improve breathing techniques
Refine deep water techniques (i.e. treading), as well as dives
Look at starts and turns
Work on pacing and distance

25m pool with a deep end (2.4m) on one side for all levels to practice deep-water confidence.
Expert teachers, Omie (& other two teachers TBC) leading the sessions, with a max of 6 swimmers per teacher.
All information of the course will be sent up to a week before the course is due to run.
